Recientemente, he practicado a leer inglés. Me he mejorado la capacidad para leer solo oraciones cortas a menos que no haya gramáticas difíciles. Además, llegué a entender sin japonés. Pero todavía no se me da bien para oraciones largas, por eso necesito acostumbrarme a leer más largas.

Recently, I have practiced reading English. I have improved my ability to read just short sentences unless there are not difficult grammars. Also, I came to understand without Japanese. But I'm still not good at long sentences, so I need to get used to reading longer. 

この頃、英文を読む練習をしている。短文なら難しめの文法がない限りスラスラ読めるようになってきたし、日本語を介さずに英語のまま内容を理解できるようになってきた。しかし、文が長くなると理解しにくくなるので、長文を読むのにもっと慣れていく必要がある。

a menos que　⇔　unless：～でない限り、もし～でなければ

llegar a entender　⇔　come to understand：理解できるようになる

largo　⇔　long：長い
