Hace dos años que ellos empezaron a hacerlo.

It has been two years since they started it.

彼らがそれをやり始めてから2年になります。

¿Cuánto tiempo hace que viven juntos?

How long have you lived together?

あなたたちは一緒に住んでからどのくらい経ちますか？

Hace frío desde la semana pasada.

It has been cold since last week.

先週あたりからずっと寒い。
