The boss made one of his subordinates do the hard work.

上司は面倒な仕事を部下に押し付けた。

Mis padres no me permiten salir a medianoche.

My parents won't let me go out at midnight.

両親は私が夜中に出歩くことを許さない。（禁止されている）
